Release The Wolves of Reigate – on 17 April!

This lupine prog-pop number is taken from forthcoming LP, 'DIVE!'. And backs gorgeous new single 'I Could Be Loved' on its 17 April release.


'Wolves' matches vocal and guitar hooks with a pounding beat, clashing guitars, sinister vocoders – and a weird prog mid section with howling wolves and swirling keys. Then, as if that's not enough, it closes with an exultant Gilmour-esque guitar break. All in a three-minute pop song!


Written and produced by christopher rye, who also supplies vocals, guitars, vocoder, and synths, with epic keyboards and electric piano from Alfonso Cavassa, athletic bass from Allan Wiseman, and punchy drums from Fabio Sclafani.


• The hooky melody and lyric hides a dark story about how a defenceless eight-year-old boy was attacked by a gang of men. Years later, he became the singer and guitarist in Space Angel...
