(Looks Like) Angels: bonus single out now

3 April sees the release of a bonus single from Space Angel.

'(Looks Like) Angels' is out now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and other digital channels after an edit of the song started trending on Soundcloud, rapidly amassing 1,500 plays and rising with zero promotion. The song has since been picked up by iHeartRadio network in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand.

The track – written and sung by bassist Allan Wiseman, and arranged and produced by christopher rye, who contributes Gilmour-esque lead guitar, backing vocals, and electric piano – was originally placed on Soundcloud as an album taster.

The song also features keyboards and backing vocals by Angel Alfo and drums by Angel Fabi, and is backed by the new, shorter radio-friendly 'Fastlane Edit' of 'Something on the Motorway'.

• The band's next official singles will be 'I Could Be Loved', backed by album track 'The Wolves of Reigate' on 17 April, and 'Abyssinia Sometime', backed by 'There' on 15 May. • Once the album is out, 'Forgiving is Easy' will be a further single, followed by 'Autumn is Turning to Gold' and 'The 300 Days of January' as seasonal releases.
