Soaring melodies, big beats, Floydian guitars, thundering bass, ambient keys, and vocal harmonies – all the way from Brighton seafront. The band started as a guitarist jam session that evolved into a writing partnership that has created a repertoire of dozens of original songs, and some spectacular theatrical shows.

Space Angel are...

Vocalist, lead guitarist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist christopher rye (solo airplays on BBC6music and BBC Introducing); bassist, vocalist, and second guitarist Allan Wiseman (MCA Records, arena tours in Scotland); pianist, vocalist, and keyboard wizard Alfonso Cavassa; and Sicilian rhythm maestro Fabio Sclafani on drums.

Original songs – but with a sound that echoes the classic likes of 70s Floyd, Bowie, Roxy Music, Cocteau Twins, The Blue Nile, Kate Bush, Scott Walker, late-period Beatles, Blur, Nick Drake, Flaming Lips, mid-70s Joni Mitchell, 80s King Crimson, and John Martyn.
